حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ، وأَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ الْمِصْرِيَّانِ، قَالَا: ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ السَّمْحِ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عُقَيْلِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ: «أَنَّ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ رَسُولِ اللهِ، صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَجَارَتْ أَبَا الْعَاصِ فَأَجَازَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جِوَارَهَا، وَإِنَّ أُمَّ هَانِئِ بِنْتَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ أَجَارَتْ أَخَاهَا عَقِيلًا فَأَجَازَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جِوَارَهَا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyidah Zaynab bint Rasulullah (peace and blessings be upon him) granted protection to Abu al-As, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) upheld her protection; and Sayyidah Umm Hani' bint Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with her) granted protection to her brother Aqil, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) upheld her protection too.
