حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى الرَّقِّيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ الرَّهَاوِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو قَتَادَةَ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: كُنْتُ أَرَى رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُقَبِّلُ فَاطِمَةَ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي أَرَاكَ تَفْعَلُ شَيْئًا مَا كُنْتُ أَرَاكَ تَفْعَلُهُ مِنْ قَبْلُ فَقَالَ لِي: «يَا حُمَيْرَاءُ، إِنَّهُ لَمَّا كَانَ لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِي إِلَى السَّمَاءِ أُدْخِلْتُ الْجَنَّةَ، فَوَقَفْتُ عَلَى شَجَرَةٍ مِنْ شَجَرِ الْجَنَّةِ لَمْ أَرَى فِي الْجَنَّةِ شَجَرَةً هِيَ أَحْسَنُ مِنْهَا حُسْنًا، وَلَا أَبْيَضَ مِنْهَا وَرَقَةً، وَلَا أَطْيَبَ مِنْهَا ثَمَرَةً فَتَنَاوَلْتُ ثَمَرَةً مِنْ ثَمَرَتِهَا فَأَكَلْتُهَا فَصَارَتْ نُطْفَةً فِي صُلْبِي، فَلَمَّا هَبَطْتُ الْأَرْضَ وَاقَعْتُ خَدِيجَةَ فَحَمَلَتْ بِفَاطِمَةَ، فَإِذَا أَنَا اشْتَقْتُ إِلَى رَائِحَةِ الْجَنَّةِ شَمَمْتُ رِيحَ فَاطِمَةَ، يَا حُمَيْرَاءُ، إِنَّ فَاطِمَةَ لَيْسَتْ كَنِسَاءِ الْآدَمِيِّينَ وَلَا تَعْتَلُّ كَمَا يَعْتَلُّونَ»
Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I used to see the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) kissing Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her), so I said: O Messenger of Allah, I see you doing something I did not see you doing before. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "O Humayra', on the night I was taken up to the heaven (the Mi'raj), I was admitted into Paradise. I stopped at one of the trees of Paradise; I did not see in Paradise any tree more beautiful than it, nor one with whiter leaves, nor one with finer fruit. I picked one of its fruits and ate it, and it became a drop of seed in my loins. When I came down to the earth, I went in to Sayyidah Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her), and she conceived Fatimah. So whenever I long for the fragrance of Paradise, I smell the scent of Fatimah. O Humayra', Fatimah is not like the ordinary women of the children of Adam, nor does she suffer ailments as they do."
