Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 19152 — Sayyiduna Abu Wahb al-Jushami, who had

Sayyiduna Abu Wahb al-Jushami (may Allah be pleased with him), who had the companionship of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Name yourselves with the names of the prophets. The most beloved names to Allah are Abdullah and Abd al-Rahman, the truest names are Harith and Hammam, and the worst names are Harb and Murrah. Keep horses, and pass your hands over their forelocks and their hindquarters, or he said: their rumps; and put collars on them, but do not put bowstrings on them as collars. And you should keep every dark bay horse with a white blaze and white legs, or chestnut with a white blaze and white legs, or black with a white blaze and white legs."
