حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، ثنا حَكَّامُ بْنُ سَلْمٍ، عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِي سُلَالَةَ السُّلَمِيِّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «سَيَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَئِمَّةٌ يَمْلِكُونَ أَرْزَاقَكُمْ يُحَدِّثُونَكُمْ فَيَكْذِبُونَكُمْ وَيَعْمَلُونَ وَيُسِيئُونَ الْعَمَلَ لَا يَرْضَوْنَ مِنْكُمْ حَتَّى تُحَسِّنُوا قَبِيحَهُمْ وَتُصَدِّقُوا كَذِبَهُمْ فَأَعْطَوْهُمُ الْحَقَّ مَا رَضُوا بِهِ، فَإِذَا تَجَاوَزُوا فَمَنْ قُتِلَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sulalah al-Sulami (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Soon there will be rulers over you who will control your provisions. They will speak to you and lie, and whatever they do, they will do badly. They will not be pleased with you until you call their evil good and confirm their lies. So (at that time) give them their right as long as they are content with it, and when they transgress the limits, then whoever is killed on that account is a martyr."
