حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، ثنا حَبَّانُ بْنُ مُوسَى، وسُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَا: ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي بَكْرُ بْنُ سَوَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ اللَّخْمِيِّ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ مِنْ أَشْرَاطِ السَّاعَةِ ثَلَاثَةً: إِحْدَاهُنَّ أَنْ يَلْتَمِسَ الْعِلْمَ عِنْدَ الْأَصَاغِرِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umayyah al-Lakhmi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Among the signs of the Hour are three: one of them is that knowledge will be sought from the young (those of little knowledge)."
