Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 1911 — A camel died at al-Harrah, and near it

حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا خَلَفٌ، ثنا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: «مَاتَ جَمَلٌ بِالْحَرَّةِ وَإِلَى جَنْبِهِ قَوْمٌ مُحْتَاجُونَ، فَرَخَّصَ لَهُمُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي أَكْلِهِ»
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A camel died at al-Harrah, and near it were some needy people, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) permitted them to eat it.
