Muhammad bin Ishaq (may Allah have mercy on him), in naming those who were martyred with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the day of the Battle of Hunayn, said that from Quraysh, and then from Banu Asad, was Yazid bin Zam'ah bin al-Aswad bin al-Muttalib; his horse, which was called 'al-Janah', bolted with him and threw him, and he died from it.
