It is narrated from Sayyiduna Yazid bin Husayn al-Sulami (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man said: "O Messenger of Allah, what is Saba'? Is it the name of a prophet or of a woman?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Rather, he was a man of the Arabs." He asked: "How many children did he have?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He had ten sons; six of them settled in Yemen and four in Syria. Those who settled in Yemen were Kindah, Madhhij, al-Azd, the Ash'ariyyun, Anmar and Himyar; and those who settled in Syria were Lakhm, Judham, Amilah and Ghassan."
