حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْأَشْعَثِ الْأَنْطَرْطُوسِيُّ، ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثَنَا الْجَرَّاحُ بْنُ مَلِيحٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ ذِي حِمَايَةَ، عَنْ غَيْلَانَ بْنِ جَامِعٍ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: «حَجَجْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَازْدَحَمَ النَّاسُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأَنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ كَأَشَبِّ الرِّجَالِ وَأَقْوَاهُمْ فَدُسْتُ النَّاسَ حَتَّى أَخَذْتُ بِيَدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَوَضَعَهَا عَلَى صَدْرِي، فَلَمْ أَرَ شَيْئًا كَانَ أَبْرَدَ وَلَا أَطْيَبَ مِنْ يَدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ»
The son of Sayyiduna Yazid bin al-Aswad al-Suwa'i (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that his father said: I performed Hajj with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The people were crowding heavily around the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and in those days I was the youngest and strongest of the young men. So I pushed my way through the people until I took hold of the hand of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and placed it on my chest, and I found nothing cooler or more fragrant than the hand of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
