Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 1881 — from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah: When

Simak narrates from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him): "When the sun passed its zenith, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would pray Zuhr and recite something like 'Wal-layli idha yaghsha' (By the night when it covers), and likewise in Asr, and likewise in the other prayers, except Fajr, in which he (peace and blessings be upon him) would lengthen the recitation."
