Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 1874 — I heard Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah say

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْقَطْرَانِيُّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، «يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ يَقْعُدُ قَعْدَةً ثُمَّ يَقُومُ»
Simak bin Harb says: I heard Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) say: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would deliver the sermon standing, then sit down for a while, then stand up again.
