Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 18646 — I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى، ثنا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ قَبِيصَةَ بْنِ هُلْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: قَالَ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، عَنْ طَعَامِ النَّصَارَى فَقَالَ: «لَا يَحِيكَنَّ فِي صَدْرِكَ طَعَامٌ ضَارَعْتَ فِيهِ النَّصْرَانِيَّةَ» قَالَ: وَرَأَيْتُهُ يَضَعُ إِحْدَى يَدَيْهِ عَلَى الْأُخْرَى
Sayyiduna Hulb al-Ta'i (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about the food of the Christians, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Let no food trouble your heart in which you would be resembling Christianity." And I saw him (peace and blessings be upon him) placing one of his hands upon the other.
