حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَزَّارُ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ الْبِنَّاءُ الْكُوفِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْمُرِّيُّ، ثنا بَسَّامُ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي قُبَّةٍ حَمْرَاءَ مِنْ أُدُمٍ فَأَخْرَجَ بِلَالٌ فَضْلَ وَضُوئِهِ فَابْتَدَرَهُ النَّاسُ، فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ أَخَذَ شَيْئًا، وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ لَمْ يَأْخُذْ ثُمَّ أَخْرَجَ بِلَالٌ عَنَزَةً فَرَكَزَهَا فَخَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَصَلَّى إِلَيْهَا، وَالنَّاسُ وَالدَّوَابُّ يَمُرُّونَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a red tent of leather. Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) brought out the leftover water of his (peace and blessings be upon him) ablution, and the people rushed towards it; some took some of it and some did not. Then Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) brought out a spear and planted it in the ground, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out and prayed facing it, while people and animals were passing in front of him (peace and blessings be upon him).
