حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْغَفَّارِ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: خَرَجَ بِلَالٌ بِالْهَاجِرَةِ فَأَذَّنَ، ثُمَّ دَخَلَ، فَخَرَجَ بِتَوْرٍ فِيهِ فَضْلُ وَضُوءِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُمْسَكَةٌ بِيَدِهِ، لَوْ وَضَعَهُ بِالْأَرْضِ كَسَرَهُ النَّاسُ فَجَعَلُوا يَتَنَاوَلُونَ فَمُصِيبٌ مِنْهُ ومُتَنَضِّحٌ عَلَيْهِ بِالْمَاءِ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) came out in the midday heat and called the adhan, then went inside, and came out with the leftover water of the ablution of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in a vessel, holding it in his hand. Had he put it on the ground, the people would have broken it. So the people began taking it: some would get some of it, and some would be sprinkled with its water. Then the narrator mentioned the rest of the hadith.
