حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ، ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ أَبِي دَاوُدَ، عَنِ الْهَيْثَمِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: «مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِرَجُلٍ يُصَلِّي قَدْ سَدَلَ ثَوْبَهُ فَقَطَعَهُ عَلَيْهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a man who was praying with his garment hanging loose (sadl), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) cut it off him.
