حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، أَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَبَّانَ، ثنا سَلْمُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ ثنا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي مَسِيرٍ فَسَمِعَ قَائِلًا يَقُولُ: اللهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللهُ أَكْبَرُ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «دَعْوَةُ الْحَقِّ» فَقَالَ: أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «كَلِمَةُ الْإِخْلَاصِ» فَقَالَ: أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «خَرَجَ صَاحِبُهَا مِنَ النَّارِ» ثُمَّ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «تَجِدُونَ هَذَا صَاحِبَ مِعْزًى أَوْ صَاحِبَ كِلَابٍ يَتَصَيَّدُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was on a journey when he (peace and blessings be upon him) heard someone saying: Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is the call of truth." He said: I bear witness that there is no true god except Allah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is the word of sincerity (kalimat al-ikhlas)." He said: I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who said it has come out of the Fire." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You will find him to be an owner of goats or an owner of hunting dogs."
