Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 18490 — he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيِّ قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، فِيمَا نَعْلَمُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «سَتُفْتَحُ عَلَيْكُمُ الدُّنْيَا حَتَّى تُنَجِّدُوا بُيُوتَكُمْ كَمَا تُنَجَّدُ الْكَعْبَةُ» قُلْنَا: وَنَحْنُ عَلَى دِينِنَا قَالَ: «نَعَمْ فَأَنْتُمُ الْيَوْمَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ يَوْمَئِذٍ» قُلْنَا: يَوْمَئِذٍ قَالَ: «بَلْ أَنْتُمُ الْيَوْمَ خَيْرٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him), as far as we know, that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Soon the world will be opened up to you, until you will adorn your houses just as the Ka'bah is adorned." We said: And will we remain upon our religion? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, and you today are better than you will be on that day." We said: (Will we be better) on that day? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No, rather you are better today."
