حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ وُلِدَ لَهُ ثَلَاثَةُ أَوْلَادٍ لَمْ يُسَمِّ أَحَدَهُمْ مُحَمَّدًا فَقَدْ جَهِلَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Wathilah bin al-Asqa' (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has three sons born to him and does not name any one of them Muhammad has acted ignorantly."
