Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 18400 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Among
حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ الْمُحَارِبِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ النَّصْرِيِّ، عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْقَعِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مِنْ أَعْظَمَ الْفِرَى أَنْ يَقُولَ: عَلَى الرَّجُلِ مَا لَمْ أَقُلْ، أَوْ يَدَّعِيَ إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ، أَوْ يُرِيَ عَيْنَيْهِ فِي الْمَنَامِ مَا لَمْ تَرَ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Wathilah bin al-Asqa' (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Among the greatest of lies is that someone fabricates against me what I did not say, or ascribes himself to someone other than his father, or makes his eyes see in a dream what they did not see."
