حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، ثنا بَكَّارُ بْنُ تَمِيمٍ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَمْنَعُوا عِبَادَ اللهِ فَضْلَ الْمَاءِ، وَالْكَلَأِ، وَلَا نَارًا فَإِنَّ اللهَ جَعَلَهَا مُشَاعًا لِلْمُقْوِينَ، وَقُوَّةً لِلَمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Wathilah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not withhold from the servants of Allah surplus water, pasture or fire, for Allah has made them common to travellers and a support for the weak."
