Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 18354 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: A man

حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ هَارُونَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّرْجُمَانِيُّ، ثنا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُدْرِكٍ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْقَعِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا يَمْسَحُ الرَّجُلُ جَبْهَتَهُ حَتَّى يَفْرُغَ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ، وَلَا بَأْسَ أَنْ يَمْسَحَ الْعَرَقَ عَنْ صُدْغَيْهِ، فَإِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ مَا دَامَ أَثَرُ السُّجُودِ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Wathilah bin al-Asqa' (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man should not wipe his forehead until he has finished his prayer, but there is no harm in wiping the sweat from his temples, for the angels continue to invoke mercy upon him as long as the mark of prostration remains between his eyes."
