Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 18316 — I saw that when the Prophet ﷺ began

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، ثنا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَذْوَ أُذُنَيْهِ»
Sayyiduna Wa'il bin Hujr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I saw that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began the prayer, he would raise his hands up to the level of his ears.
