حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: لَمَّا قَدِمَ أَبِي عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «رَآهُ يَضَعُ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى الْيُسْرَى، وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ مَعَ كُلِّ تَكْبِيرَةٍ»
Abd al-Jabbar bin Wa'il (may Allah have mercy on him) relates: When my father came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he saw that he (peace and blessings be upon him) would place his right hand on the left, and raise his hands with every takbir.
