Ali bin Rabi'ah al-Walibi from al-Mughirah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 18101 — the Prophet ﷺ performed ablution
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَا: ثنا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks.
