حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هِشَامِ بْنِ أَبِي الدُّمَيْكِ، ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْكِنْدِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ الْمَاجِشُونُ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، أَنَّهُ سَكَبَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ إِنَائِهِ، «فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ، ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ يَغْسِلُ ذِرَاعَيْهِ فَضَاقَ كُمَّاهُ عَنْ ذِرَاعَيْهِ، فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا مِنْ تَحْتِ الْجُبَّةِ، وَكَانَتْ مِنْ صُوفٍ، ثُمَّ» غَسَلَهُمَا وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Mughirah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he poured water for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) from the vessel of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) washed his face, then went to wash his forearms, but the sleeves were tight, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) brought them out from beneath the woollen cloak, then washed them and wiped over the leather socks.
