Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 17979 — On the day of Hunayn, the Messenger

Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: On the day of Hunayn, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) turned towards Abu Sufyan bin al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: "Who are you?" He said: "The son of your mother." So he (peace and blessings be upon him) said something good to him.
