Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 17939 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْمُؤَدِّبُ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْعِجْلِيُّ، ثنا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مَطَرِ بْنِ عُكَامِسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا قَضَى الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مَنِيَّةَ عَبْدٍ بِأَرْضٍ جَعَلَ لَهُ بِهَا حَاجَةً»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Matar bin Ukamis (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, decrees the death of a servant in a certain land, He creates for him a need there."
