Lineage of Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him), a participant in Badr: son of Abd al-Muttalib bin Hashim bin Abd Manaf bin Qusayy bin Kilab bin Murrah bin Ka'b bin Lu'ayy bin Ghalib bin Fihr bin Malik; his kunyah was Abu al-Hasan — Reports narrated by Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ بَحْرٍ الزَّاهَرَانِيُّ، ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ بَيَانٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ قِيلَ: يَا أَهْلَ الْجَمْعِ غُضُّوا أَبْصَارَكُمْ حَتَّى تَمُرَّ فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَتَمُرَّ، وَعَلَيْهَا رِيطَتَانِ خَضْرَاوَانِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا "
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection it will be said: 'O people of the gathering! Lower your gazes until Fatimah, the daughter of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), passes by.' So she will pass by wearing two green sheets, may Allah be pleased with her."
