حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَوْرٍ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ مِرْدَاسِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، قَالَ: رَمَى رَجُلٌ أَخَاهُ فَفَرَّ، فَوَجَدْنَاهُ عِنْدَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، فَانْطَلَقْنَا بِهِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «فَأَقَادَنَا مِنْهُ»
Sayyiduna Mirdas bin Urwah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man shot his brother with an arrow and fled. We found him with Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), then we took him to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he granted us retaliation (qisas) against him.
