حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، وَأَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ عَبْدُ الْوِرَاثِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَا: ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا حِبَّانُ بْنُ أَغْلَبَ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الْمُعَلَّى بْنِ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ، عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَيُّمَا قَوْمٍ نُودِيَ فِيهِمْ بِالْأَذَانِ صَبَاحًا إِلَّا كَانُوا فِي أَمَانِ اللهِ حَتَّى يُمْسُوا، وَأَيُّمَا قَوْمٍ نُودِيَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِالْأَذَانِ مَسَاءً إِلَّا كَانُوا فِي أَمَانِ اللهِ حَتَّى يُصْبِحُوا»
Sayyiduna Ma'qil bin Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Any people among whom the adhan is called in the morning remain under the protection of Allah until the evening, and any people among whom the adhan is called in the evening remain under the protection of Allah until the morning."
