Muhammad bin Sirin from Ma'qil bin Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 17618 — the Prophet ﷺ forbade both the woman

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ دَلْهَمٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنِ الْوَاصِلَةِ، وَالْمَوْصُولَةِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ma'qil bin Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him) "that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade both the woman who joins hair to hair and the woman whose hair is joined."
