معاذ بن أنس الجهني
Mu'adh bin Anas al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 17539 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said
حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ زُفَرَ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، ثنا خَيْرُ بْنُ نُعَيْمٍ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ الْقَاضِي، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الذِّكْرُ يَفْضُلُ عَلَى النَّفَقَةِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ مِائَةَ ضِعْفٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Anas al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Remembrance (dhikr) surpasses spending in the path of Allah a hundredfold."
