حَدَّثَنَا خَيْرُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثنا عُرْوَةُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ الْعِرْقِيُّ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَنَا أَحْمَدُ وَأَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ وَأَنَا الْحَاشِرُ الَّذِي أَحْشُرُ النَّاسَ عَلَى قَدَمِي، وَأَنَا الْمَاحِي الَّذِي يَمْحُو اللهُ بِيَ الْكُفْرَ، فَإِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ لِوَاءُ الْحَمْدِ مَعِي وَكُنْتُ إِمَامَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَصَاحِبُ شَفَاعَتِهِمْ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I am Ahmad and I am Muhammad, and I am al-Hashir (the Gatherer), at whose feet the people will be gathered, and I am al-Mahi (the Effacer), through whom Allah will efface disbelief. When the Day of Resurrection comes, the Banner of Praise will be with me, and I will be the leader of the Messengers and the one who intercedes for them."
