حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ، سَمِعَ مُعَاوِيَةَ، يَقُولُ: «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَكَلَ لَبَنًا ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»
A man, whose name is not mentioned, relates that he heard Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) say: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) drink milk, then he (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up and prayed without performing ablution (wudu).
