حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا أَبِي، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ السَّيْلَحِينِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْيَحْصِبِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَزَالُ أُمَّتِي قَائِمَةً بِالْحَقِّ يُقَاتِلُونَ مَنْ قَاتَلَهُمْ وَحَارَبَهُمْ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ»
Abdullah bin Amir al-Yahsubi (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates: I heard Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Abi Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) say: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "My Ummah will always remain steadfast upon the truth; whoever fights them or wages war against them, they will keep fighting him until the Day of Resurrection."
