حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّائِغُ الْمَكِّيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِزَامِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ الْمَعَافِرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ، سَمِعَ مَالِكَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْخَثْعَمِيَّ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ رَآنِي فِي الْمَنَامِ فَسَيَرَانِي فِي الْيَقَظَةِ، وَلَا يَتَمَثَّلُ الشَّيْطَانُ بِي»
Abd al-Rahman bin Shurayh (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his father Shurayh bin Abd al-Rahman that he heard Sayyiduna Malik bin Abdullah al-Khath'ami (may Allah be pleased with him) narrating from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), like the hadith of Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever sees me in a dream will soon see me in wakefulness as well, and Satan cannot take my form."
