It is narrated from Sayyiduna Malik bin al-Huwayrith (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) climbed a step of the pulpit and said: "Amin." Then he climbed another step and said: "Amin." Then he climbed a third step and said: "Amin." Then he said: "Jibril (peace be upon him) came to me and said: O Muhammad! Whoever lives to see his parents, or one of them, and then enters the Fire, may Allah distance him; say: Amin. So I said: Amin. And whoever lives to see Ramadan and is not forgiven, may Allah distance him; say: Amin. So I said: Amin. And whoever you are mentioned in front of and he does not send blessings upon you, may Allah distance him; say: Amin. So I said: Amin."
