حَدَّثَنَا طَالِبُ بْنُ قُرَّةَ الْأَذَنِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى الطَّبَّاعُ، ثنا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، عَنْ أبيه قَالَ: «كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ، فَنَزَلْنَا مَنْزِلًا فَنَامُوا عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ حَتَّى طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ، فَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،» فَأَمَرَ بِلَالًا فَأَذَّنَ وَتَوَضَّأُوا وَصَلُّوا رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ أَقَامَ بِلَالٌ فَصَلَّى بِنَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ حَدَّثَنَا بِمَا هُوَ كَائِنٌ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، حَفِظَهُ مَنْ حَفِظَهُ وَنَسِيَهُ مَنْ نَسِيَهُ "
Yazid bin Abi Maryam (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his father, Sayyiduna Abu Maryam (Malik bin Rabi'ah) (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: We were with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on a journey. We stopped at a place, and the people slept through the prayer until the sun rose. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) got up and instructed Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), who gave the call to prayer (adhan). The people performed ablution and prayed two rak'ahs. Then Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) gave the iqamah, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in prayer. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) told us of what will happen until the Day of Resurrection. Whoever remembered it remembered it, and whoever forgot it forgot it.
