أنس بن مالك، عن أبي أسيد
Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) from Abu Usayd (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 16628 — he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّنُوخِيُّ، ثنا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُسَيْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «خَيْرُ دُورِ الْأَنْصَارِ بَنُو النَّجَّارِ ثُمَّ بَنُو عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ ثُمَّ بَنُو الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْخَزْرَجِ ثُمَّ بَنُو سَاعِدَةَ، وَفِي كُلِّ دُورِ الْأَنْصَارِ خَيْرٌ» ، فَقَالَ سَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ: مَا أَرَى رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا قَدْ فَضَّلَ عَلَيْنَا، قَالَ: «قَدْ فُضِّلْتُمْ عَلَى كَثِيرٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Usayd al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best of the households of the Ansar are Banu al-Najjar, then Banu Abd al-Ashhal, then Banu al-Harith bin al-Khazraj, then Banu Sa'idah; and in every household of the Ansar there is good." At this Sa'd bin Ubadah said: I see that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has given others preference over us. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You too have been given preference over many."
