حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، وَمُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالَا: ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ صَالِحِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَسْلَمَةَ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ كَيْفَ أَصْنَعُ إِذَا اخْتَلَفَ الْمُصَلُّونَ؟، قَالَ: «تَخْرُجُ بِسَيْفِكِ إِلَى الْحَرَّةِ فَتَضْرِبُهَا بِهِ، ثُمَّ تَدْخُلُ بَيْتَكَ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَكَ مَنِيَّةٌ قَاضِيَةٌ أَوْ يَدٌ خَاطِئَةٌ»
Sayyiduna Muhammad bin Maslamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I said: O Messenger of Allah! What should I do when those who pray disagree among themselves? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Take your sword out to the Harrah and strike it against that (rocky ground), then enter your house until your appointed death comes to you, or a sinful hand reaches you."
