حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، وَعَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، اسْتَشَارَ النَّاسَ فِي إِمْلَاصِ الْمَرْأَةِ، فَقَالَ الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ شُعْبَةَ: «شَهِدْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَضَى فِيهَا بِغُرَّةٍ عَبْدٍ أَوْ أَمَةٍ» ، قَالَ: فَائْتِنِي بِمَنْ يَشْهَدُ مَعَكَ، فَأَتَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Miswar bin Makhramah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) consulted the people about a woman's miscarriage, and al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): he (peace and blessings be upon him) judged in it with (the payment of) a male or female slave (ghurrah)." Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Bring me someone who will testify along with you. So Sayyiduna Muhammad bin Maslamah (may Allah be pleased with him) came to him.
