يحيى بن جعدة بن هبيرة، عن كعب بن عجرة
Yahya bin Judah bin Hubayrah from Kab bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 16396 — the Prophet ﷺ ordered him to shave
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْقَطِيعِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ الْبُرْسَانِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ جَعْدَةَ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَة، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ كَعْبَ بْنَ عُجْرَةَ أَنْ يَحْلِقَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الْقَمْلِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «صُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ أَوْ أَطْعِمْ سِتَّةَ مَسَاكِينٍ مُدَّيْنِ مُدَّيْنِ أَوِ اذْبَحْ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him to shave his head because of lice, then said: "Fast three days, or feed six poor people two mudds each, or offer a sacrifice."
