جندب بن عبد الله بن سفيان البجلي ثم العلقي حي من بجيلة يكنى أبا عبد الله ويقال جندب بن سفيان ويقال جندب بن خالد بن سفيان
Jundub bin Abdullah bin Sufyan al-Bajali al-Alaqi (may Allah be pleased with him), al-Alaqah being a branch of Bajilah; his kunyah was Abu Abdullah, and he is also called Jundub bin Sufyan and Jundub bin Khalid bin Sufyan

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيِّ، عَنْ جُنْدُبٍ الْبَجَلِيِّ، قَالَ: «كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ فِتْيَانٌ حَزَاوِرُ»
Sayyiduna Jundub al-Bajali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: "We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when we were young boys."
