Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 1635 — Sayyiduna Abu Dharr said: The Messenger

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي زَكَرِيَّا الْغَسَّانِيُّ أَبُو مَرْوَانَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ بُدَيْلِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: «أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنْ أَصِلَ رَحِمِي، وَإِنْ أَدْبَرْتُ، وَأَنْ أَقُولَ الْحَقَّ، وَإِنْ كَانَ مُرًّا، وَأَنْ لَا تَأْخُذَنِي فِي اللهِ لَوْمَةُ لَائِمٍ، وَأَنْ أُحِبَّ الْمَسَاكِينَ، وَأُجَالِسَهُمْ، وَأَنْ أَنْظُرَ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ تَحْتِي، وَلَا أَنْظُرُ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ فَوْقِي، وَأَنْ أُكْثِرَ مِنْ قَوْلِ لَا حَوْلَ، وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ»
Abdullah bin al-Samit narrates that Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered me to maintain ties with my relatives even if they turn away from me; to speak the truth even if it is bitter; not to let the blame of any blamer affect me in the matter of Allah; to love the poor and sit with them; to look at those beneath me and not to look at those above me; and to say La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah (There is no might and no power except with Allah) abundantly."
