Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 16185 — when the Prophet ﷺ was pleased, his face

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حُصَيْنٍ الْقَاضِي، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ» إِذَا سُرَّ اسْتَنَارَ وَجْهُهُ كَأَنَّهُ قِطْعَةُ قَمَرٍ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was pleased, his face would light up as though it were a piece of the moon.
