Sayyiduna al-Daylami (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) as part of a delegation and said: We prepare a food and a drink which we give to our cousins to eat and drink. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Does it intoxicate?" I said: Yes. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is unlawful." Then, when I was about to take leave of him (peace and blessings be upon him), I mentioned it again and said: O Prophet of Allah, they will not be able to keep away from it. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever does not keep away from it, strike his neck."
I said: O Prophet of Allah, I have two sisters as my wives. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Divorce whichever of them you wish."
