Fakih bin Sad (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 15919 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to take
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُزَيْقِ بْنِ جَامِعٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ السَّمْتِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْخَطْمِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ الْفَاكِهِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ الْفَاكِهِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، وَكَانَتْ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَيَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ، وَيَوْمَ النَّحْرِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Fakih bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him), who was a Companion, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to take a ritual bath (ghusl) on Friday, on the day of Arafah and on the Day of Sacrifice.
