حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، وَابْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هَانِي حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هَانِي، عَنْ أَبِي عَلِيٍّ الْجَنْبِيِّ، عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطَبَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَعْرَاضَكُمْ حَرَامٌ، كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا، فِي شَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا، فِي بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Fadalah bin Ubayd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) delivered a sermon on the Day of Sacrifice and said: "Your blood and your honour are sacred to you, just as this day of yours, this month of yours, and this city of yours are sacred."
