Sayyiduna al-Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) set off from Arafat, and Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) was riding behind him. He was standing still when the she-camel began moving about with him, so he struck it before setting off, while he was raising both his hands, which did not go above his head. Then, when he set off, he travelled at an easy pace until he reached Muzdalifah; then he set off from Muzdalifah, then he recited the Talbiyah from Muzdalifah itself, while Sayyiduna al-Fadl (may Allah be pleased with him) was riding behind him. Al-Fadl (may Allah be pleased with him) said: He continued reciting the Talbiyah until he stoned Jamrat al-Aqabah.
