حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُعَافَى بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا خَطَّابُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ خُصَيْفٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، وَمُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: «كَانَ أُسَامَةُ رَدِيفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ عَرَفَةَ إِلَى الْمُزْدَلِفَةِ، وَكُنْتُ رَدِيفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْمُزْدَلِفَةِ إِلَى مِنًى، فَلَمْ أَزَلْ أَسْمَعُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُلَبِّي حَتَّى رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ»
Sayyiduna al-Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Usamah (may Allah be pleased with him) rode behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) from Arafah to Muzdalifah, and I rode behind him (peace and blessings be upon him) from Muzdalifah to Mina, and I kept hearing the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) reciting the Talbiyah until he stoned Jamrat al-Aqabah.
